FantasyBook was founded with the aim to fill the gap in social network applications and provide a fully fledged fantasy sports application. Launched in December 2007, FantasyBook received seed funding by Bay Partners as part of their AppFactory Program (http://www.baypartners.com/appfactory/). We’re happy to announce that Fantasy Book is now part of Citizen Sports.

Jon Brelig
Jon Brelig, CEO
Jon designs, markets, develops and works to keep everything moving at FantasyBook. After receiving his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas in Management Information Systems and Finance in 2006, he made his way to Silicon Valley to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions. In addition to FantasyBook, Jon is the founder and president of SkiReport.com, a top online ski portal which attracts over 1 million visitors and 12 million page views per season. Jon also enjoys skiing, tennis, Sunshine Wheat, and Austin, TX.
Ben Standefer
Ben Standefer, CTO
Ben helps code a lot of the server-side data components and ensures that applications will be able to scale rapidly. Ben enjoys high volumes of data, log files, Linux, scaling, and infrastructures. He has worked in product management at Coremetrics and operations at Digg.com. Ben also enjoys writing music, guacamole, and winter sports.
Andy Lammers
Andy Lammers, Developer
Andy is the front-end Flash guru. After spending time in the financial industry and receiving his Masters degree from Southern Methodist University, Andy has created industry analytics dashboards in his position as Senior Developer at Coremetrics and through his own startup, itDash. Andy is constantly experimenting with quantitative data analysis, visual metaphors, social web applications, and mashups. All while looking good doing it.
